This is not my first pair of Ecco's and won't be my last! I had been looking for a brown wingtip for casual/dress and this shoe fits the bill. I have worn with slacks/coat & tie and also with jeans; they work great. But what I really love is the comfort! I am on my feet a good part of the day, traveling from one meeting to the next, often on foot. (I am 6'3" and weigh 220 lbs, size 13 shoe) These shoes really have great support for my high instep and wonderful cushioning so my feet don't tire.

The brown finish is not a high gloss more of a satin or dull brown and the sole of the shoe is a rubber-base which works great for me. They are not a formal dress shoe like Allen Edmonds. Definitely pleased with my purchase and will buy Ecco again...and again!
