I ordered these sandals based on the pics and the reviews from other buyers and found them to be just as advertised: very comfortable and just as pictured. They may be the most comfortable hiking/camping sandals I've ever owned based strictly on the cushion of the sole of the sandal. However, the downside of this is the sole is thick and it rolls your ankle when walking on rocks/branches thru the woods (think platform shoes). I found my foot sliding off of the sole to each side if I stepped on the side of a rock/branch no matter how tight I wore my sandals. Never noticed this with my teva's, but I have with these. So if you're ordering them to wear around town, campus, etc, I think they're a 5 star (comfort and looks) but if you're ordering them strictly for hiking thru trails and streams they're not completely stable and I'd give them a 3-4 star.
